Christina and Rafaël at the Christmas Market

I’m so happy my best friend is married to someone from the Netherlands. That means every once a while she’ll be closeby and we can see each other! Antwerp/New York City  is a long distance, but when we’re together it’s like no time has passed!

Since we only had one day, we went walking through the historic district, browsing different shops before exploring the Christmas Market. Once Koen was off work, we met at Quinten Matsijs – the oldest café in the low countries – for a pre-dinner drink before ending the evening at Izumi for a Japanese dinner.
