The Birthday Boy
This year for Koen’s birthday we headed to one of our favorite seafood restaurants in Antwerp – Fiskebar Fiskebar on the Marnixplaats. We enjoyed oysters, North sea shrimp, and fish…plus we were excited to find a limited edition sea buckthorn beer from Mikkeller on the menu!
A few oysters to start
Koen’s starter: North Sea shrimp croquettes – have to eat as many as possible before the move!
My starter: grilled squid with olives and capers

Koen’s main: Bouillabaisse
My main (and favorite!): Sole meunière
We were both very full but couldn’t resist a dessert to finish the birthday dinner, so we split a dame blanche! 🙂
