Our ferry to the Isle of Islay
Day Two we made our way from Glasgow to Kennacraig for the ferry to Port Ellen on the Isle of Islay. Before reaching Kennacraig, we stopped at Loch Goil and at the Fyne Ales Brewery for lunch and a tasting.

Once we arrived at Port Ellen, we settled into our farmhouse at Callumkill Estate in Ardbeg. Such a beautiful house and location!

After dropping off our things, we went for a drive – taking in the beauty of Isle of Islay. The roads aren’t busy, so we were able to pull over quite often.

We drove to Bowmore – the largest city on Islay. At the end of their For dinner we had a delicious dinner in Bowmore at the Harbour Inn. Definitely recommend if you’re in Islay!
