Luckily I was able to see Christina one more time before she headed back to the States. It doesn’t matter where we are – America, the Netherlands, Belgium – nothing beats a girls’ day. This time we were in Amsterdam!

We met at Central Station and went for a cup of coffee before visiting the Stedelijk Museum – the first time for both of us.

 

 

 

 

 

After the exploring the different exhibitions we worked up an appetite and had lunch at the museum’s restaurant. We were able to enjoy the sunny weather with our delicious sandwiches!

 

 

We spent the rest of the afternoon walking to the 9 Straatjes for some shopping and drinks before meeting Rafaël and Nikki for an early dinner. Highlights include vintage kimono shopping and organic beer!
