The Mercat de Sant Josep de la Boqueria, aka La Boqueria, is one of Europe’s biggest and most famous food markets. So of course during our trip to Barcelona, we had to come visit and explore!
When Koen and I travel, choosing where to eat is very important to us. So of course we first wanted to eat at Tickets, but soon realized the impossibility of a reservation. We settled for the next best thing – lunch at Bodega 1900, one of the concept restaurants by Albert and Ferran Adrià (of El Bulli fame).
If you are researching the best place for tapas in Barcelona, you will definitely find Quimet & Quimet on the list. The café was recommended to us as well by a friend of ours so we decided to go our first evening!
Koen and I just returned from a long weekend in Barcelona, where my graduation was being held. We stayed in the Gràcia neighborhood, in the north of the city, where Park Güell is located. Of course it’s fun to explore the neighborhood!
